Once again, our products are kosher certified by Rabbinaat der Israëlitische Gemeente Antwerpen.
Good to know: Kosher literally means “fit” or “proper”. A product is kosher if it meets the dietary standards of Jewish law.
What is kosher food?
In general, food is categorised into meat, dairy and pareve or parve (e.g. eggs, vegetables, nuts). It is neither allowed to put meat and milk products on the same plate nor to eat them together. Moreover, meat and milk products must not be prepared with the same utensils. Consequently, high purity standards are applied while producing kosher food. This means that cleaning products have to fulfil higher requirements, too. On the one hand, they have to clean efficiently; on the other hand, they have to follow Jewish law. The kosher certification ensures that these guidelines are met.
Which requirements do kosher certified products need to meet?
To consider a product kosher, some essential rules especially during the production process and regarding the ingredients must be complied with. To give an example, kosher non-food products must be free of any animal product.
Kosher certified products of the CARELA Group fulfil these requirements and can be applied when producing, processing or preparing kosher food. Using our products to clean and disinfect surfaces, kitchen appliances, machines or other devices ensures hygienic safety throughout the entire production process.
